Dr. med. Bachtiar Kutup

After obtaining his medical license, Dr. Kutup first achieved board certification in surgery. Thanks in part to his training at the BG Trauma Clinics in Hamburg and Duisburg, Dr. Kutup acquired in-depth expertise in trauma surgery early in his career. In addition to the additional qualification in specialized trauma surgery, his extensive surgical training enabled him to obtain the newly introduced board certification in orthopaedics and trauma surgery shortly after the official merger of the two specialties in 2006.

Since 2003, Dr. Kutup has worked as a senior physician at the Florence Nightingale Hospital in Düsseldorf, where he serves as a trauma surgeon, orthopaedist, and hand surgeon. Dr. Kutup has many years of experience in the stabilization of all types of fractures, degenerative joint surgery, and minimally invasive arthroscopic procedures. He also specializes in hand and foot surgery. Since 2011, he has been the head of the Department of Trauma Surgery.
